Feathers & Flapjacks 5K & Fun Run

Birds of a feather, run together! This year, the Fountain Hills PTO will be hosting the annual Feathers & Flapjacks 5K & Fun Run for the whole community! A percentage of all registration fees goes right back to our school. So grab your friends, colleagues, and family members for a fun-filled day of Falcon spirit, community togetherness, and exercise! Following the 5K & Fun Run, the FHUSD PTO will be hosting a delicious pancake breakfast in the elementary school cafeteria.
Both runs start promptly at 8:00 am! The Fun Run will be four laps (1 mile) around the track. While the 5K will follow a trail around the school through gorgeous desert vistas.
Runners will be able to pick up race packets the evening before the event at the McDowell Mountain Elementary School front office from 5 to 7 PM.
T-shirt guaranteed if you register by 1/15/24. Any registration after 1/15 t-shirts will be upon availability.
In addition, participants may arrive anytime after 6am on race day to pick up their packets.
The top 3 finishers in each category will receive an honorary medal. All runners who register in advance by January 20th will receive a special event shirt with a custom logo designed by local Fountain Hills company Blue Top Apparel.
