Feathers & Flapjacks: 5K & Fun Run

Birds of a feather, run together! This year, the Fountain Hills PTO will be hosting their first annual Feathers & Flapjacks: 5K & Fun Run for the whole community! A percentage of all registration fees goes right back to our school. So grab your friends, colleagues, and family members for a fun-filled day of Falcon spirit, community togetherness, and exercise! Following the 5K & Fun Run, the FHUSD Athletic Boosters will be hosting a delicious pancake breakfast in the Fountain Hills High School cafeteria from 8:30 – 10:30am. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast ticket sales will be going to the FHUSD Athletic Boosters.
Both runs start promptly at 8:00 am! The Fun Run will be four laps (1 mile) around the track. While the 5K will follow a trail around the high school through gorgeous desert vistas.
Runners will be able to pick up race packets the evening before the event at the Fountain Hills High School front office from 5 to 7 PM.
In addition, participants may arrive anytime after 6am on race day to pick up their packets.
The top 3 finishers in each category will receive an honorary medal. All runners who register in advance by January 9th will receive a special event shirt with a custom logo designed by local Fountain Hills artist, Alissa Costello, that they can wear for the race.
